How do I place an order?
Orders can be made right through our website. After your order is placed, one of our friendly staff will contact you to confirm all information and obtain any additional details we may need to ensure the highest level of customer service. You may also place your order by calling our toll free number: 1-866-200-8560. Final confirmation of your order will be made by phone or email, depending on your preference, 48 hours prior to your arrival.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
It is best to make your reservation as early as possible. Your order is subject to equipment availability. For last minute rentals, we will do everything we can to accommodate your requests.
Is there a minimum number of days required for rental?
Yes, there is a minimum of a 2 night rental.
How will I receive my equipment, where do you deliver and is there a delivery charge?
We will deliver and pick up your equipment to the location of your choice within our service area. Delivery within the area of South Orange County from San Clemente to Laguna Beach is $35. Central Orange County including, Irvine, Newport Beach, Tustin & surrounding areas is $40 and North Orange County is $45. Additional delivery charges apply to areas outside Orange County. Please call for rates. We will deliver to vacation rentals, private residences, hotels, condos, campgrounds and bed and breakfast’s in the Orange County area. For special delivery and pick up times please indicate in comment box when ordering. Our standard delivery times are between 9am – 12pm and pick up is between 11am – 2pm.
Can you deliver to the airport?
No. We cannot deliver equipment directly to the airport due to FAA security policy.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 48 hours to avoid any penalty. Any cancellations less than 48 hours will result in a 50% charge of your order to the provided credit card.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
What If I am not satisfied with the equipment provided?
If you are not satisfied with a piece of equipment, please contact us and we will be happy to provide a replacement.
Are your products safe and clean?
Yes. Children safety and cleanliness is our number one concern. We only purchase Juvenile Product Manufacturer Association (JPMA) certified products. Every item is sanitized using non-toxic cleaning products and checked for safety before and after every use.
How new is your equipment?
All of our equipment has been purchased by OC Travel Tykes. It is checked for wear and tear with every return and if found in disrepair, will be replaced immediately.
Can I pick up the equipment?
Yes, you can certainly come and pick up the equipment. Our showroom is located at 1023 Calle Sombra, Unit G in San Clemente. Our showroom is open by appointment only so please contact us to schedule a pick up time.
What if I need something not on your list?
We will be happy to accommodate special requests as items are available. Please call in advance for any special request items.
Can I rent the items for more then one week?
Yes, items can be rented daily, weekly or monthly. 5 or more days is automatically given the discounted weekly rate. For rental periods over two weeks please call us for a quote.
Do you track manufacturer’s recalls?
Definitely! All of our baby equipment has been purchased by OC Travel Tykes. We safety check each piece of baby equipment prior to renting it out, each and every time. We also track recall information on a regular basis through the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website www.cpsc.gov which provides automated recall updates on baby equipment. And promptly discard if damaged.
What is your policy on damage/breakage?
It is our expectation that the products will have normal wear and tear for the amount of time renting product. However, excessive wear and tear will subject the renter up to 50% of the purchased value of the product. In cases where the product is damaged beyond repair or unsalvageable, the full replacement value of the product will be charged to the credit card account of the renter.
Are your equipment rentals insured against loss or damage?
We are unable to provide insurance against loss, theft or damage.
Do you install car seats?
No. We are not authorized to install car seats. Manuals are available for all of our products, upon request. We also recommend that you visit our local fire stations. They can help you with installation. You may also try the Child Passenger Safety Contacts here.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver to most of South and Central Orange County from San Clemente to Newport Beach. We will deliver outside of this area for an additional delivery fee.
